Casa de Vida

Donate to Share Hope

The mission of Casa de Vida is to protect life, from conception until natural death. The home is a refuge for expectant mothers, including those with children under the age of ten, from area municipalities. These women are confused after having been derailed in life by extreme poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, rape, abandonment or depression. And on top of all that, an unplanned pregnancy. They are unsure whether they want to terminate their pregnancy, yet they are not equipped to take care of themselves or a child. At Casa de Vida, they learn to find their footing again. Above all, they discover the strength to preserve their child’s life.

The Casa De Vida Women's Pregnancy Shelter and Outreach – COVID-19 project is the first of a two-phase project that aims to offer critical relief to Casa de Vida during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Phase II will concentrate on resuming normal activities at the shelter once COVID-19 is over, with a projected start date of December 31, 2021.
