"Holy Spirit School inspires life-long learners and ignites servant-leaders...",begins the mission statement of our school. This Lent, Holy Spirit is encouraging its students to become servant-leaders by graciously giving to those less fortunate than themselves. Through Lenten sacrifice and alms giving, we hope to provide the village of Balan, Haiti, with the funds to purchase 6,000 moringa seeds.

This project is also a perfect fit for this year's theme, Protect the Creation; Praise the Creator. We, at Holy Spirit School, feel called to respond to the environmental crisis in Haiti. Pope Francis has urged Catholics to care for the environment and for the poor, who he says are most likely to be hurt by climate change.

We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us in this endeavor. Through your incredible generosity, the people of Balan will benefit from cleaner air, more food and an improved environment for years to come. Your simple "Yes" will allow an entire community to breathe in hope and see the Lord through His creation.

Thank you!
